23 June: Westlife perform their last ever show Croke Park, Dublin. The concert will also be screened live to more than 200 cinemas.

24 June: Rihanna closes BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend 2012 Hackney Marshes, London. The live music event is held across six stages to mark the opening weekend of the London 2012 Festival.

25 June: Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships begin All England Lawn Tennis Club, Wimbledon. Reigning men's champion Novak Djokovic opens the tournament.

26 June: Press launch for Spice Girls musical Viva Forever London. Expected to be attended by Jennifer Saunders, who has written the show.

27 June: European Athletics Championships begin Helsinki. The date marks a month before the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics.

28 June: European Council meeting of EU heads of state Brussels. Prime Minister David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande are due to attend.

29 June: Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Award ceremony London Hilton, Park Lane. Award recipients include Andrew Lloyd Webber for Lifetime Achievement.

30 June: Edinburgh International Film Festival closes. Includes an awards ceremony and the European premiere of Disney/Pixar's new animation Brave.
