Consolidated Communications (CCM) has won a five-way pitch to
handle PR for the Enjoy Organics Company.
The Red Consultancy, Countrywide Porter Novelli and Lexis were among
those involved in the pitch.
CCM director Katie Hatfield will head the pounds 250,000 account, which
signals the agency's first win since the management board bought the
company from founder and CEO Alastair Gornall earlier this month.
The brief is events, guerilla, intranet and press office activity under
a campaign called 'Little burst of enjoyment'.
The appointment is a first for The Rank Hovis McDougall-owned organic
food company. 'The EOC is a perfect cultural fit for us,' said Hatfield,
who reports to the client's head of marketing, Ian Hills.
Hills was recruited from Ben & Jerry's last month, with a brief to
reassess each product and decide on its direction.
The EOC makes 29 products, including cereals, bread, pasta and pasta
