- What is it good for?

A small bite at lunch or post-work drinks and nibbles. The menus change twice daily, so there should always be something exciting to taste, and there is also an extensive selection of sherry.

- Signature dishes

The pumpkin ravioli, the ajo blanco with beetroot and the pork with dates were all scrumptious. It is also worth saving room for pudding as the churros are a must.

Owned by Tim Luther, who also owns Barrica on Goodge Street.

- Tips please

The restaurant is small and busy; you cannot reserve tables so either arrive for an early bite or go for a later meal to ensure a space. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed, which is lovely if you have time to spare, but stressful on a tighter schedule. The dishes are delicious but tiny - you need probably three dishes per person.

- What's the damage?

Most dishes range from £4.50 to £7.50, and the wines start at £18 per bottle.
