Robert Anderson joins from handling clients including Microsoft, GlaxoSmithKline and PepsiCo at Weber Shandwick.
Anderson will report to Good Relations CEO Teresa-Anne Dunleavy and be responsible for driving the agency’s digital offerings across all its accounts.
He will head up a team of four digital specialists to build on Good Relations' digital capabilities and ensure it is a fully integrated part of the agencies services.
Before joining Weber Shandwick in 2008, Anderson worked as a television news producer for Sky News.
While working for Sky, Anderson helped form the broadcaster’s online business unit and its online content strategy. As part of the remit Anderson worked on shows like Soccer AM to increase interactivity through video and create branded content opportunities for clients that included Nissan.
Anderson also worked on Sky’s commercial syndication deals with YouTube and Google, as well as consulting on social network engagement programmes and the integration of online video and user-generated content.
