Maxine Creedy, showbiz editor of News of the World's Sunday
Magazine, has quit to join lads' mag Loaded.
The IPC title created the job of celebrity editor for Creedy in an
attempt to further increase its 351,300 circulation.
'Celebrities are the lifeblood of the magazine industry at the moment,'
said Loaded editor Keith Kendrick. He denied the appointment represents
a departure from established policy, saying that 'Loaded has always been
Creedy is effectively a replacement for features director Tammy Butt,
who resigned after Kendrick took over two months ago.
Loaded will be featuring articles about relationships from male and
female perspectives. But it remains a men's magazine, Kendrick
