Eurostar selects Shared Value for corp comms job

Rail operator Eurostar has confirmed the appointment of Shared

Value on a pan-European corporate communications brief, following a

major agency shake-up.

The appointment follows the selection of Borkowski PR to handle the

firm's consumer work in a similar continental deal (PRWeek, 1 June).

Both appointments aim to complement a programme of renewal being

undertaken by the firm, which will include the refurbishment of both

rolling stock and terminals.

Five agencies were reviewed for the corporate communications brief, with

three being invited to pitch. The appointments are the first for the

merged Eurostar group, with PR responsibility previously handled by the

three constituent operators.

The account is led by Shared Value senior partner Bill Stokoe and

director Henrietta Hobart, reporting to Eurostar director of corporate

affairs Debra Aspin.
