Global: Global step for Ketchum

Ketchum has launched a sports and entertainment marketing offering in its Brazil office.

The Omnicom agency has built out its KSE sports and entertainment division to offer clients more sponsorship and entertainment opportunities, before the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2016 Olympics being held in the country.

Ann Wool, Ketchum partner and MD of KSE globally, said sports and entertainment marketing in Brazil would go even further, into 'booming' areas such as celebrity engagement and marathon running.

The team at KSE Brazil will comprise staffers in various focus areas, such as knowledge and creative planning, digital and management.

In separate news, Ketchum has partnered with Omnicom marketing research agency The Modellers to create a global marketing analytics offering.
