Healthcare and tech venture capital firm Advent Venture Partners
has taken on GCI Financial to boost investment opportunities.
Advent, which manages more than pounds 475m-worth of funds, hired GCI to
replace incumbent Golin/Harris Ludgate after a three-way pitch.
GCI will work on a financial and corporate communications remit, raising
awareness of the group in a bid to stimulate investment business with
healthcare and tech companies and their advisers.
Agency director Sarah Roberts leads a three-strong team on the account,
reporting to Advent director Martin McNair.
GCI Financial chief executive Rupert Ashe said: 'The private equity
landscape has changed dramatically in the past ten years.
The market is now in one of its most competitive phases.'
