The agency saw revenues of £17.7m in the 2011 calendar year, compared to £16.7m in 2010.
MHP also opened an office in Brussels to add to its public affairs capability and grew its headcount to 155 across the agency. MHP now has more than 40 agency affiliates worldwide.
Chief executive Sacha Deshmukh commented: 'Coming off the back of our success in 2010, and the platform of the integration of our three predecessor businesses, our strong growth in 2011 shows the impact that the MHP brand and business is having in the PR market. Now the largest agency in Engine, we have shown that PR sits at the head of genuine multi-disciplinary thinking.'
The agency, which encompasses MHP Health Mandate, was created in September 2010 by the merger of Mandate and financial agencies Hogarth and Penrose.
In terms of outlook, Deshmukh said: 'Looking ahead, we see strong growth in all four of our offices. Our success will continue to be built by the excellence of our people, and our people will remain our focus. We are going to invest even more in training and development and in the "MHP way" which lies behind all our work.'
