Charlotte Crossley has been appointed from working as a director at Birmingham comms agency Core. She has been brought in to develop strategies to promote the park’s maxim of ‘innovation through partnership’.

Crossley called her move ‘an exciting opportunity to help drive the city’s knowledge economy’ and said she wanted to ‘work with partners and stakeholders to communicate and deliver strategies that will stimulate, attract and retain entrepreneurial talent’.

The expanding business park, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, is home to more than a hundred science and technology firms, including 50 start-ups.

Dr David Hardman MBE, CEO of Birmingham Science Park Aston, said Crossley’s ‘expertise in PR and marketing, combined with her entrepreneurial flair, would only strengthen our offering to the entrepreneurs of the future’.
