MEDIA BRIEFS: Eurosport favourite for high Euro earners

Eurosport has emerged as the leading pan-European TV channel among

upmarket consumers, according to the 2001 European Media and Marketing

Survey. It scores particularly high on awareness, its 85 per cent score

still nine per cent ahead of nearest rival CNN. Eurosport reached 19

million viewers each month. The survey revealed the watching habits of

the top 20 per cent of income earners in 16 countries.
