Opinion: Letters of the Week - Think before you post anything on social networking sites

The rules about what can and cannot be posted on Facebook were inadvertently published by a disgruntled former Facebook employee and appeared in the media last week. What this fails to highlight is the growing trend of people posting before thinking.

It is a poor reflection on society where photos of a sexual nature are banned but it seems mutilated bodies are deemed OK to publish.

It's fascinating how Facebook wants us to share every last detail of our lives but then these contradictory guidelines are revealed. Where do the banned photos go?
