PUBLIC SECTOR: Prince's Trust boosts comms team to nine

The Prince's Trust is expanding its comms team, in the wake of an

initiative with the Football Foundation and Premier and Nationwide

League clubs. A communications manager for football will manage comms

for the scheme, which uses football to make training and volunteering

schemes more attractive to 16 to 25-year-olds. The Trust has also

created the post of senior communications manager to head the

three-strong press office. The Trust is looking to increase its media

work this year as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. Both positions

will report to head of communications Clare Winterton. The PR team will

become nine-strong.
