Incepta buy Beaumark to integrate with Citigate PA

Incepta has acquired public affairs agency Beaumark in a pounds

250,000 deal. The agency will be integrated with Citigate Public

Affairs.

Incepta is paying an initial sum of pounds 100,000. A further pounds

150,000 in cash and shares may be paid out depending on financial

performance.

Beaumark founder David Bennett will join Citigate as a director, where

he will lead accounts for Beaumark's three clients and report to

managing director Warwick Smith.

Beaumark's clients are the National Association of Retired Police

Officers, Kent Reliance Building Society and financial product

researchers The Research Group.

Bennett's three-strong team have left Beaumark.

'Talks about this deal have been going on for some time. Two members of

staff have gone onto other jobs and one has returned to university as a

post-graduate,' said Bennett.

'I have enjoyed running Beaumark but it is now time to be able to offer

my clients the full range of services that only an international group

such as Citigate can provide,' he added.
