Medialink tasks Purdie with merged operation

Broadcast services company Medialink Worldwide has merged its top

US and international roles and handed the combined task to London-based

Ivan Purdie.

Purdie has been promoted to EV-P of global broadcast services. He will

split his time between London and New York and will oversee both US and

international operations until it is decided whether to appoint a

successor.

While he has run international operations since being appointed MD of

that division last October, the reshuffle of top roles sees him add a US

dimension to his portfolio. He assumes that brief from Mark Manoff,

previously titled EV-P of US broadcast services.

Manoff will remain within the Nasdaq-listed firm to work on 'corporate

assignments' with the chairman, president and CEO, Laurence

Moskowitz.

Meanwhile Stuart Maister, whose firm The London Bureau was acquired by

Medialink two years ago, left the company at the end of last month.

His departure followed what Purdie described as 'months of

discussion'.

There are no plans to replace Maister. Purdie will absorb Maister's

duties in addition to his wider global role.
