England Squash & Racketball (ESR) appointed the Hampshire-based sport and leisure agency following a competitive pitch process.

Professional squash in the UK is currently enjoying huge success, with British players occupying the top two positions in the men’s world rankings and the world number two in the women’s game.

With its head office at the National Squash Centre in Manchester, ESR is spread across eight regional offices that work to promote and develop squash and racketball in the UK.

Sportsmad Media has been tasked by ESR to represent the governing body for squash and racketball, which is currently promoting a number of high-profile championship events including the British Junior Open taking place in Sheffield this week and the return to London of the Allam British Open in May.

Commenting on the appointment, Sportsmad Media’s MD David Hood said: ‘With a burgeoning youth programme, English squash and racketball continues to develop world-class professional players and importantly great role models among today’s sportsmen.’
