MEDIA: Hemmings takes up fashion editor position at Prima

The latest job merry-go-round in the women's lifestyle and fashion

market has seen Liz Hemmings appointed to the role of fashion editor at

Prima.

She takes over from former deputy fashion editor Lucy Turner, who has

moved to IPC's Essentials as fashion editor.

Hemmings joins the National Magazines monthly after a spell as freelance

fashion stylist for Saturday Express and Now magazines. She previously

worked as fashion stylist on The Daily Telegraph and junior fashion

editor at Marie Claire.

Danielle Elmes has been promoted from fashion assistant and replaces

Turner as Hemmings' deputy.

Prima, the fourth biggest selling women's fashion and lifestyle monthly,

is seeking to reverse a six per cent drop in sales to 395,000 last

year.

NatMags bought the title from the UK arm of German publisher Gruner &

Jahr in last August.
