The Financial Times has broken the half-million circulation barrier
for the first time. The March ABC of the business daily was 503,700 -
ahead of The Independent, The Guardian and London Evening Standard and
up six per cent year-on-year. The rise is attributed to increased
concentration on technology, regional issues, lifestyle and the launch
of supplements such as Creative Business. The FT said it aims to reach
750,000 copies by the end of 2005.
