- Ofcom received more than 45,000 submissions to the review of media plurality prompted by News Corporation's aborted bid for BSkyB. Around 50 responses were from organisations and individuals, about 15,000 from campaigning group Avaaz, and around 30,000 from campaigning community 38 Degrees.
