Fea joins the agency from Grayling, where she worked for two years, also as an associate director.
Before joining Grayling, where she established its media training business, she was a senior producer at the BBC, working for programmes including Radio 4's Today programme and The World at One.
She has also worked for the BBC World Service and The Money Channel.
Fea is charged with building Open Road's corporate comms client base, public affairs practice and media training capability.
Last week, the agency also hired Andrew Hobson as an associate director, joining from Insight Public Affairs to grow its healthcare practice.
