The public sector agency will handle education business across the whole firm, explaining that the move has been made in response to client interest and reflects the strongest areas of future growth. As part of the repositioning, Justin Shaw has been promoted to MD, with day-to-day responsibility for business activities and growth. Founder Pam Calvert moves to the new post of chief executive, to focus on the agency’s growth strategy.
Shaw said: ‘We were one of the first agencies to become established as specialists in this sector and our expertise means we are in the best position to support clients through the emerging agenda.
‘There are more opportunities for us to use our specialist skills to manage reputations for other organisations that have education at their heart.’
The repositioning takes in all forms of education, from early years to school, work and public education campaigns. The agency will continue to focus on achieving a balance between public sector and private sector clients.
Directors Richard Edwards and Sandra Phillips take on responsibility for client strategy and planning, and campaigns and talent, respectively.
