MEDIA: Three-way media strategy for men from the Ministry

The Ministry of Sound's media operation - which comprises the

magazine Ministry, an internet site and a radio station - is pressing

ahead with its strategy to maximise resources across all three

platforms.

Rob Fitzpatrick started this week as overall director of content. Dave

Fowler, who joined from Muzik magazine (PRWeek, 6 October 2000) as head

of digital content, has been promoted to operations director -

media.

Meanwhile, Ministry features editor Ollie Quain took the editor's role

after Scott Manson quit, saying that at 31 he was too old for the

job.

'It is still slightly chaotic,' one member of staff admitted, suggesting

that a Venn diagram was needed to fully explain reporting lines and

remits after a raft of recent resignations.

Ministry was just 2,000 copies behind 88,000-selling rival Mixmag at the

last ABCs.
