Lawnmower company Flymo has handed an integrated PR and ad campaign
to Newcastle's Robson Brown.
The agency bagged the account last week after an advertising pitch
against Saatchi & Saatchi, the client's incumbent agency of more than 15
The PR brief is linked to the ad account and is led by account manager
Julia Banks and head of PR Rob Smith. The account is worth more than
pounds 2m in total.
Flymo is a part of the Electrolux Group, which employs more than 650
staff in its County Durham plant. With over one million products sold in
2000, Flymo has 50 per cent of audited sales.
Robson Brown's team reports to Flymo marketing manager Andrew Mackay,
who said the appointment would allow his company to benefit from an
