Dunstan said: ‘In these ongoing uncertain economic times, one thing is certain. Businesses that are not actively seeking to grow will wither on the vine. Everyone in agency life will recall circumstances where, through no fault of their own, clients have terminated contracts out of the blue due to a change of marketing director or a prolonged period of poor trading.’
She aims to help agencies prevent this from happening by offering coaching, both one-to-one and in groups, workshops, client surveys and ongoing mentoring.
Dunstan added: ‘A healthy new business pipeline is one thing, but a focus on existing clients and ensuring they are as well serviced as possible is also key.’
She spent eight years at 3 Monkeys, five of which were as MD, after moving with founder and CEO Angie Moxham from Moxham’s previous agency, Le Fevre.
Dunstan states that Gain and Retain’s ethos is about ‘tapping into people's passions and empowering them to really play to their strengths in order to achieve success’.
Gain and Retain will also be hosting a series of networking events called 'GR8 nights out' in the aim of helping ‘new business to flourish’.
In a move to keep overheads down, the agency does not have an office. Its employees will all work remotely or at client locations.
