Everything Everywhere head of PR Mat Sears said: ‘The new team, drawn from both Nelson Bostock and consumer division Fever, will also provide digital consultancy and work on a brief to promote T-Mobile’s brand values, products and services to UK media and influencers.’
Sears denied that an appointment had yet been made for the overarching Everything Everywhere corporate brief, despite PRWeek reporting in August that the company was in final talks with GolinHarris and Weber Shandwick.
It is understood that Nelson Bostock impressed Everything Everywhere by having a ‘very good grasp’ of the mobile phone industry, its business and brands.
The agency is expected to kick off with press office responsibilities, as well as working on some briefs around business-to-business and consumer Christmas products.
Earlier this month, PRWeek revealed that Everything Everywhere's corporate comms director Robin O'Kelly is set to leave the mobile phone network operator.
O’Kelly was previously T-Mobile’s UK corporate comms director and had been at the company for five years.
He moved to Everything Everywhere following the merger of the UK mobile operations of Orange and T-Mobile 18 months ago to create the new brand.
