The chain aims to make gym-going more accessible by being one of the cheapest gyms on the market. Prices start at £12.99 a month, and without a fixed-term contract.

As well as handling all launch activities, Brazil will control and monitor all of the company’s social media and experiential activity.

Jason Worthy, head of central operations at Klick Fitness, said: ‘We’ve been working extremely hard to get the brand in the right position at a time when money is tight for everyone. Having done that, we needed a proven PR agency to deliver the messages to the right audience.

'Brazil crafted a creative launch solution which we truly believe in, having seen quite a few agencies during the past six months.'

Throughout September and October, nine Klick Fitness centres have opened throughout the UK.

Richard Watts, associate director at Brazil, added: ‘At each of the club openings, Brazil is enlisting local celebs and sporting heroes, as well as using market research to generate editorial content to highlight the widely varying costs of gym memberships throughout the UK.  Support for each club will also include competitions – print and radio – and partnerships with large national firms.’
