The Home Heat Helpline was set up in 2005 and provides free advice to people concerned about their fuel bill and keeping warm.
It is provided by Energy UK on behalf of the six major energy suppliers, which fund it as part of their commitment to helping vulnerable customers.
Energy UK head of communications and public affairs Peter Jenkins said: ‘We have worked with Fishburn Hedges for a number of years on the award-winning ‘Carbon Monoxide – Be Alarmed!’ campaign and we felt the integrated approach they offer is very well suited to the Home Heat Helpline campaign.’
Fishburn Hedges director Martin Brown added: ‘There are too many people who are eligible for help, but are not claiming it.’
The Fishburn Hedges team will lead a programme of media relations and engagement with intermediary organisations which will roll out across the UK through the autumn and winter.
