The event, to be held on Monday 7 November, will feature a panel including Francis Ingham, CEO of the PRCA, Sally Costerton, chairman and CEO of Hill & Knowlton Europe, Cathy Bussey, deputy editor of PRWeek, and Trevor Morris, visiting professor of PR at the University of Westminster.
Topics to be discussed will include the role of PR education in the future of the industry, what PR degrees can offer students, and why PR needs to become more professional.
In September the PRCA announced a partnership with 11 universities in the UK to offer PR and comms students benefits such as free membership and access to online training courses.
Ingham said: ‘We are looking to nurture the very best talent the UK has to offer, maintaining the UK’s reputation as the global hub for PR expertise.’
