Public Affairs: Tetra hires media head

Tetra Strategy has hired a new head of media in the week it hit the front pages over its dealings with the embattled Defence Secretary Liam Fox.

The agency run by James O'Keefe and Lee Petar has appointed former News of the World deputy political editor Jamie Lyons to oversee media relations.

On Monday, The Guardian reported that Tetra had arranged for a Dubai-based client to meet Adam Werritty, the Defence Secretary's friend who claimed to be an adviser. Fox also attended the meeting, but no officials were present.

Law firm Mischon de Reya was handling press enquiries for Tetra as PRWeek went to press.
