The trend for people to work from home has led to the launch of a
magazine called office@home this week.
Published by London-based Blendon Communications, office@home is edited
by Chris Partridge and has a print run of 30,000.
The magazine will carry features on tax and law, lifestyle and relevant
It will also cover issues such as fitness and celebrities who run
businesses from home. The first issue, for instance, profiles a man who
is sailing round the world while continuing as MD of a UK company.
office@home will initially be published every two months. The frequency
may be increased later, said editorial director Rupert Bates.
According to Blendon, 3.6 million people are expected to work from home
this year for at least part of each week.
