AMSTERDAM: International marketing and communications group Incepta
has bought Dutch financial PR and IR firm First Financial Communications
in a deal worth up to pounds 7.3m.
The Amsterdam-based consultancy joins Incepta's Citigate PR network,
becoming Citigate First Financial, after more than five years working
with the group on cross-border clients.
Joint assignments include FTSE 100 Anglo-Dutch IT services group CMG,
and Buhrmann's pounds 1.6bn US acquisition of Corporate Express.
The deal follows Incepta's strategy to expand its financial and
corporate brands into Europe. Incepta executive chairman David Wright
said the deal was 'a natural evolution of our long-standing
First Financial managing director Dorothee van Vredenburch said: 'This
link-up will enable us to meet the growing needs of our clients for
seamless cross border service.'
