INTERNATIONAL: First Financial to become Citigate agency in Holland

AMSTERDAM: International marketing and communications group Incepta

has bought Dutch financial PR and IR firm First Financial Communications

in a deal worth up to pounds 7.3m.

The Amsterdam-based consultancy joins Incepta's Citigate PR network,

becoming Citigate First Financial, after more than five years working

with the group on cross-border clients.

Joint assignments include FTSE 100 Anglo-Dutch IT services group CMG,

and Buhrmann's pounds 1.6bn US acquisition of Corporate Express.

The deal follows Incepta's strategy to expand its financial and

corporate brands into Europe. Incepta executive chairman David Wright

said the deal was 'a natural evolution of our long-standing

relationship'.

First Financial managing director Dorothee van Vredenburch said: 'This

link-up will enable us to meet the growing needs of our clients for

seamless cross border service.'
