PUBLIC SECTOR: Senior media position is created at YWCA

The YWCA wants to appoint a director of marketing and

communications. The newly-created post is part of the organisation's

recognition that 'a dedicated senior role' to handle marketing and media

initiatives is required, said communications officer Kay Jenkinson, who

has handled all press and PR duties for the past four years. The

position reports to the CEO, added Jenkinson, who is leaving the charity

in the summer to return to college.
