Demand for tables at the 25th PRWeek Awards is well up on 2010 after a fast-moving year for the comms business.
‘There has been a noticeable surge of interest in this year’s Awards,’ said Danny Rogers, PRWeek’s editor in chief. ‘Despite tough economic times, creative and cost-effective comms campaigns are clearly grabbing budget from other disciplines. There will be some surprise PRWeek Award winners this year.’
The event will see 30 gongs handed out to the best in-house departments, agencies and professionals, including PR Professional of the Year, Consultancy of the Year and Campaign of the Year.
Google’s comms boss D-J Collins is the chair of judges for 2011 and he will be joined by numerous senior comms directors and leading consultants. There will also be a raft of top quality entertainment, and the traditional drinking and networking into the early hours.
