Time Atlantic, the European edition of weekly news magazine Time,
has appointed a husband and wife team as co-editors.
Ann and Donald Morrison took over the 620,000 circulation title this
week after six years in Hong Kong, where both edited separate Time
titles.
Former editor Christopher Redman will contribute to a variety of Time
titles in his new role as editor-at-large. Former deputy editor Jim
Jackson retired at the same time, which led to the double vacancy.
Time Atlantic is distributed in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. 'We
will be running more split covers, tailoring the magazine within the
region,' Donald Morrison said.
At present, for example, roughly half of the content in the European
edition of Time is different from the US edition and Morrison believes
this ratio will increase.
The Morrisons will be in charge of 30 journalists based in London, as
well as supervising 11 overseas bureaux.
