Broadgate is home to a number of global companies that occupy more than 16 buildings in and around Liverpool Street station.

Property comms consultancy Klein O'Rorke has overseen a pitch process involving top consumer PR agencies to work on the brief to promote the area as more than a business district.

The brief is understood to be for a retained contract that will aim to attract consumers to spend time in the area and drive visitors to its facilities.

Klein O'Rorke has been working with Broadgate's owners British Land and Blackstone, as well as property management firm Broadgate Estates. They will put together a marketing strategy for the area, which also hosts restaurants, cafes, shopping facilities, public art displays and events.

Broadgate has become one of the City 's major developments after the completion of the 201 Bishopsgate and Broadgate Tower in 2009.
