PUBLIC SECTOR: Counselling group aims to raise its profile

In a bid to raise its media profile, The British Association for

Counselling and Psychotherapy has created the post of communications

manager. The post-holder will report to deputy CEO Alan Jamieson and

work alongside head of media relations Philip Hodson. 'This is an engine

room post for us, developing strategies and getting more information out

to members, the public and the media,' said Hodson. 'We want to start an

event called National Therapy Day. This role will be vital in getting

that up and running.'
