STOP PRESS: BSMG Worldwide veteran opts to move on

BSMG Worldwide's longest-serving UK staff member is to step down after more than 30 years at the agency. Steve Gebbett has been at BSMG or its predecessor Charles Barker since 1970, including a 16-year spell as managing director of its consumer marketing division. In an age of high staff and client turnover, Gebbett marked himself out by spending 11 years on Cadbury, 22 years on Spillers foods, 24 years on Crown paints and a massive 30 years with the Tea Council.
