Homeware brand T&G calls in Adrenalin after three decades in-house

British homeware brand T&G has handed its PR account to marketing and communications agency Adrenalin after a four-way pitch.

Adrenalin's brief is to inspire a sense of patriotism and passion in the quintessentially British brand. It will run a consumer press office as well as planning, managing and co-ordinating all PR activity for the T&G range.

The appointment comes as part of a major overhaul of privately owned T&G, which has also seen the launch of a new catalogue and company website along with a shift away from in-house PR.

It is the first time the brand has used an external PR agency in its 36-year history.

Patrick Gardner, managing director at T&G, said: ‘Watching Adrenalin talk through their ideas has given us all something new to think about. External input is always very healthy and Adrenalin certainly convinced us they would be a valuable partner.’

T&G’s products, including chopping boards, salt and pepper mills and ceramics, are crafted by its design team and sold to retailers and independent cook shops around the UK.
