Jabra, the global headset brand, has asked Ranieri Communications to manage the UK consumer PR for its mobile division consumer products. Wildfire PR retains the b2b brief, having held both the consumer and b2b accounts previously.

3 Monkeys has recruited Four Communications head of digital Phil Ryan. He starts on 19 September as head of digital. He will report to head of technology Stuart Yeardsley and sit on the agency's operations board.

CentraStage, the IT remote device management software company, has appointed Jargon PR as its UK and EMEA PR agency after a pitch process. Previously CentraStage handled its PR in house. Jargon will manage the company's reputation in the technology and channel press and its analyst relations programme.

Vizz Mobile, the virtual network operator, has appointed Babel PR as its first social media PR agency without a pitch process. Babel's campaign will focus on building an online community for Vizz Mobile customers.

ILX Group, a provider of technology-led learning and consulting services, has drafted in Mi liberty as its UK PR agency, having previously worked with Technology PR. Mi liberty will provide the AIM-listed software company with ongoing media relations, digital marketing, SEO and social media support.

Arkivum, the data storage management company, has called in Whiteoaks to handle its UK PR. Whiteoaks will drive a thought leadership-based campaign in online and offline media as Arkivum looks to provide services to other sectors such as construction and pharmaceuticals.
