Contract publisher Redwood has hired Samantha Murray-Greenway, former fashion editor of the Daily Express and writer for Vogue and Dazed and Confused, to edit its new launch. Out on 7 February, Gem magazine is an upmarket, 48-page glossy supporting the gem.net website. Redwood said it would contain 'fashion and lifestyle for the jewellery world'. A teaser version of Gem went out with Vanity Fair this month.
