BORDER LINES: In-house corp comms top wages

HONG KONG: Hong Kong-based regional corporate communications jobs command the best in-house PR salaries in Asia. The finding is revealed in a survey by TMP Worldwide e-Resourcing, the company which owns internet recruitment firm Monster.com. Many corporations in Hong Kong pay a regional head of corporate communications as much as pounds 145,000 per year and offer further health and training allowances, compared with a ceiling of pounds 115,000 in Singapore. Top packages continue to be offered in the telecommunications and technology sector, but corporate PR salaries have continued to be generally stable with limited hikes during the year.
