PUBLIC SECTOR: British Dental Association hires Tanner

The British Dental Association has hired the former editor of Modern Labour magazine, Jo Tanner, as a permanent officer in its press and parliamentary department. The appointment has been made in anticipation of the general election later this year. She will report to department head Kate Cinamon and has a general brief to ensure 'oral health is pushed up the political agenda'. Tanner, who has worked at the European Parliament and in the legal and financial sector, had been working on a freelance basis at the BDA prior to her appointment.
