PUBLIC SECTOR: Fogg to head Scout Association comms

John Fogg has been appointed as director of communications at The Scout Association, the UK's largest co-educational voluntary youth movement, which represents over 10,000 Scout groups. He replaces Jane Gisbert, who has left the organisation but is not thought to have taken a new job yet. Fogg steps into the director role, reporting to chief executive Derek Twine, after more than 12 years as public relations officer at the association. He joined in 1988 after a 17-year PR period at British Rail.
