Construction Manager, the magazine for members of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIB), has been relaunched after a pounds 350,000 investment.
The redesigned monthly will be edited by Andy Cook, former assistant editor of Building magazine. Its publisher, The Builder Group, took over the CIB title this year.
In an unusual move for a trade publication, each issue will carry an IT focus, Construction Computing, starting on the back cover and working inwards 'upside down'.
Construction Computing was formerly a quarterly supplement to Construction Manager.
Navigation and content have also been improved in the main journal, according to Cook.
There will be information on career development, costs, taxation and regulations in addition to news about products, services and plant hire.
It will also carry a new section on management, written by Financial Times management editor Michael Skapinker.
