BORDER LINES: Edelman buys Henschel and Partner

MUNICH: Munich-based agency Henschel and Partner has been acquired by Edelman PR Worldwide. The consultancy is initially to be renamed as an independent company under the name of Henschel and Edelman, with plans to then rebrand as Edelman. It will offer IR, financial and hi-tech PR. Agency founder Elisabeth Henschel will take responsibility at Edelman for its technology offerings in the Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich offices. Henschel joined the Edelman network with clients including Sun Microsystems and Unisys.
