PUBLIC SECTOR: Griffiths named as new SANE media officer

Mental health charity SANE has appointed Alice Griffiths as a media and press officer. She joins from Thames Water where she had worked for three years. 'This role has a similar national profile brief but there is more challenging proactive work. I will be developing every aspect of media relations, from raising our awareness about our helpline to campaigns to erase the public stigma associated with mental illness,' said Griffiths, who will report to head of strategy Margaret Edwards.
