Financial PR agency Gavin Anderson and Company has won a cross-border brief for leading global ratings organisation Standard and Poor's.
The consultancy will work on an international account, led out of both the London and New York offices. In the former, Gavin Anderson UK managing director Chris Salt will lead the account, with the agency's president and New York CEO Robert Mead heading the US team.
The consultancy will work on a corporate brief. For confidentiality reasons, Gavin Anderson would not disclose further details.
Standard and Poor's - which is part of The McGraw-Hill Company, an international publishing, media, information and financial services organisation - provides credit analysis and information. It also provides investment, fund, capital markets and research services.
Gavin Anderson, which specialises in financial, corporate and public policy communications, has 10 offices worldwide. Founded in New York 20 years ago, it now has a worldwide fee income believed to be in the region of pounds 35 million a year and staff of around 250.
Its client list includes Telstra, Reuters, Novartis and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
