University of Sheffield hires Kindred after three-way pitch

The University of Sheffield has appointed Kindred to run a six-month corporate PR campaign after a three-way pitch.

The campaign will promote the benefits of a University of Sheffield degree and emphasise the all-round benefits of the university.

University of Sheffield director of external relations Carrie Warr said: 'Higher education is entering a new communications era and we wanted an agency with ideas that reflect that.'

In June Kindred worked with Universities UK, the representative body for university vice-chancellors, on its Universities Week campaign.

Kindred director Lorna Gozzard said: 'The University of Sheffield has a fantastic proposition and vision and we're thrilled to have been chosen to work on this campaign.'
