STOP PRESS: WPP lands Boots global marketing job
Boots has handed its pounds 80 million global marketing work to WPP. All Boots branded consumer products will now be handled by WPP agencies. Corporate brand management head Neville Wells said any review of external suppliers will now include a WPP company, but stressed that its relationships with Citigate Dewe Rogerson and BSMG-GJW are unaffected. WPP-owned Hill and Knowlton already works on various Boots brands.
