Open Health was founded by former Huntsworth Health global CEO David Rowley in January this year. The venture, which is backed by Chime Communications, recently acquired 100% of health PR firm Reynolds-MacKenzie for an initial consideration of £2.6m.

The new market research and brand planning practice, Open Plan, will be led by Cory Inglis and the division will provide global and domestic market research services including qualitative, online and quantitative research.

‘Open Plan adds another dimension to the Open Health strategic expertise. It enhances our offering by developing robust insights for our clients that will provide the basis from which cutting edge communication strategies can be developed – irrespective of discipline or channel,’ said Open Health’s chief operating officer Sandy Royden.

In April, Open Health acquired advertising agency Lane Earl Cox for an undisclosed fee.
